Are you passionate about supporting students with complex needs? Join our secondary schools in Chelmsford as an SEN LSA, Complex Needs starting in September 2024 and make a significant difference in the lives of young people.
As an SEN LSA, Complex Needs, you will play a crucial role in providing dedicated support to students with a range of special educational needs. Working closely with teaching staff and external professionals, you will assist in implementing tailored learning plans and strategies to ensure each student's individual needs are met effectively.
We are looking for compassionate individuals who are committed to promoting inclusivity and supporting the academic and personal development of students with complex needs. Previous experience in a similar role or a background in special education is advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing one-on-one support to students with complex needs in classroom and educational settings.
* Assisting with personal care and mobility requirements as necessary.
* Supporting the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
* Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to create a supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Experience working with students with complex needs or a willingness to learn and develop in this area.
* Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards supporting the learning and well-being of students.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students and the school environment.
