What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Teacher of PE and PSHE with an infectious passion for their subject and specialist subject knowledge.
In this role, you will teach equal amounts across the two subjects and will be supported by expert teachers. PE outcomes have been in the top 20% nationally for the last two years, and there is much to learn and contribute to this thriving, successful department. The Academy is committed to personal growth, and you will receive excellent support and opportunities for development within the Academy and across the Trust.
You must be confident in the delivery of both PE and PSHE at KS3 and KS4 and have the ambition and dedication to continue to support the development of the curriculum and wider curriculum in line with current practice and research in effective teaching. You will be able to support the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively. Passionate about your specialist subjects, you will recognise the importance and impact that these areas of the curriculum have on a student’s wider life and on their future destinations and career prospects.
