We’re on the hunt for a creative and driven Marketing Manager to join our client to help make UK Construction Week (UKCW) even bigger and better. If you’re great at turning ideas into action and love creating strategies that bring people together, this could be the perfect role for you!
What’s UK Construction Week all about?
UKCW is the UK’s largest event for the built environment, a buzzing hub where professionals across the construction industry connect, learn, and grow. It showcases cutting-edge technology, sparks innovation, and creates incredible networking opportunities.
Your role in all this?
You’ll take charge of promoting UKCW, boosting attendance and engagement, and driving the event’s overall success. Basically, you’ll be the one making sure everyone knows about—and wants to be part of—this must-attend event!
What you’ll be doing
1. Strategic magic:
o Dream up and roll out marketing strategies to increase awareness and get people excited about UKCW.
o Keep a finger on the pulse of the industry: track market trends, audience insights, and competitor moves.
2. Campaign wizardry:
o Lead the way on multi-channel campaigns—digital, social, print, email, PR—you name it!
o Work closely with the team and partners to make sure the messaging hits the mark and stays on-brand.
3. Content creation:
o Oversee awesome content for promotional materials, social media, websites, and newsletters.
o Make sure everything not only looks amazing but also connects with the people we’re talking to.
o Design strategies to bring in exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees.
o Show off event highlights, like top speakers, sessions, and standout features, through epic campaigns.
o Run the show when it comes to SEO, PPC, social ads, and more—constantly optimizing and improving.
o Use data and analytics to see what’s working (and what’s not) and adjust as you go.
4. Budget boss:
o Keep an eye on the budget and make smart decisions to get the best bang for their buck.
o Report on spending and the ROI from campaigns.
o Build strong relationships with sponsors, media, and industry partners.
o Represent UKCW at events and networking meetups—get that name out there!
5. Team captain:
o Lead and support the marketing crew, making sure everyone’s motivated and doing their best work.
o Share your knowledge, mentor the team, and create an environment that encourages creativity.
What we’re looking for:
* Solid experience in marketing (ideally in events or construction).
* Savvy with digital marketing, from social media to analytics tools.
* Amazing communicator who’s great with people.
* Able to juggle multiple projects and hit deadlines with ease.
* A mix of creativity and strategic thinking.
* Comfortable with marketing platforms and analytics tools.
