Hours: 2 x 34.5 and 30 HRS PER WEEK – 12 hour shifts including rotation to night duty when required An opportunity has arisen for a Nursing Assistant within ward 6 Queen Margaret Hospital working with the nursing and multi – professional team to ensure a high standard of care to patients. It is essential that you have a caring and compassionate attitude when working with our patients and display our organisation values. You will have the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and take direction to deliver high quality patient care. You must also have the ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment. Experience working within healthcare environment is desirable but not essential for this post. Ideally the candidate should have SVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience. Mandatory training will be provided for the successful candidate. If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
