We have a new requirement for an Energy Management Customer Manager working within our Energy Management team, which provides market-leading energy sourcing and risk management services for UK customers including wholesale market access, market information, and wholesale market media materials for customers.
This role will manage two Energy Management analysts and will oversee the service offering wholesale market access to the UK flexible customer base (‘lock-in process’) and oversee the production and timely distribution of industry-leading energy market reports, offering daily market quotations and market insights to UK customers.
The Team monitors and collates real-time energy market information and trading screen prices to facilitate the management of customers' risk tools. The job holder is required to interact heavily with other teams including H&O, Sales, Pricing, Commercial, and Risk Control, and Analysis.

Role Purpose:
* Ownership of the service offering wholesale market access to the UK flexible customer base (‘lock-in process’)
* Oversee the production and timely distribution of industry-leading energy market reports, offering daily market quotations and market insights to UK customers.
* Understand the regulation that governs the European wholesale energy markets and be aware of bigger-picture market changes.
* Represent TGPL at energy industry workgroups and seminars.
Customer Wholesale Live Market Desk:
* Ensure the live market desk is open to customers and provide customers with market-leading market information/price
* Ensure any customer instructions in our systems (lock-ins) and external communications are quickly and accurately recorded, promptly rectifying issues across all levels of the process, and highlighting issues promptly to management
* Work with customers on the phone, email or other channels to provide best price and position information
* Ensure SLAs are maintained for customers and internal stakeholders (H&O team, pricing, sales etc)
Customer Market Information:
* Provide high-quality market information to customers, using multiple methods, such as face-to-face meetings, phone, email, and media such as webinars and podcasts
* Publish industry-leading market reports on time and consolidate key market events and drivers clearly & simply
* Ensure accurate market commentary on the phone, via market reports, on webinars and in meetings etc.
* Contribute to innovation in customer materials and customer engagement
Experience Required:
* Commercial experience in an energy trading role with exposure to live commodity markets.
* Strong skills required for accuracy, daily process checks, and process enhancement.
* Proficient in the use of Reuters and energy monitoring tools as well as having a good concept of Python.
* Confident personality with the ability to efficiently interact with other teams (Trading, Sales) and external counterparts and customers.
