The role: Aircraft Inventory Coordinator
We are seeking an Aircraft Inventory Coordinator within the Supply Chain Contracted Spares Inventory team. This role involves managing the end-to-end process of delivering materials for aircraft maintenance worldwide, overseeing contracted spares pool agreements, and ensuring timely supply of critical spare parts. Collaboration with technical, planning, quality teams, and external suppliers is essential. Technical aircraft knowledge and procurement experience are advantageous.
What you'll do:
* Place purchase orders to support aircraft maintenance and stock policies, controlling expenditure.
* Manage component scrap processes per financial instructions.
* Ensure contractual compliance with suppliers for aircraft materials/services.
* Expedite orders to meet delivery schedules.
* Settle invoices and credits within contractual timeframes.
* Plan, prioritize, and organize tasks to meet objectives.
* Maintain high-quality communication with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
* Handle discrepancies during goods receipt in a timely manner.
* Collaborate across departments and with external partners.
* Produce and present departmental reports.
* Compile and transfer data/statistics to internal systems.
* Update company systems and processes as required.
Your experience:
* Education to Level 2 or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of BA Engineering IT systems, including EWS/SAP.
* Understanding of material movements, logistics, and supply chain processes.
* Procurement or inventory management experience.
* Awareness of Airworthiness Requirements related to components.
* Supplier management experience.
