You’ll know how to drive change and make a difference; you will need to be comfortable working in a large team and will need to be adept at identifying and managing stakeholders at all levels. A bit about the job: As a Platform Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team who are developing and implementing advanced technology solutions, plans, processes and procedures within the allocated area(s) of responsibility, in compliance with internal policies, laws and regulations. You will manage the Integration domain team within Technology Platform working with GI, IWR business/programme teams and application teams to deliver e2e integration solutions aligned with Aviva standards and framework. You’ll know how to drive change and make a difference. Responsible for leading and managing a team focused on technology development, providing guidance and direction to ensure timely delivery of technology-related projects and initiative, in compliance with policies, regulations and industry best practices. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of technology solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the development process, manage relationships with external vendors, partners and contractors. Accountable for the delivery of the team, evaluate and monitor team performance, manage and monitor the team budget, provide guidance, coaching and support, share expertise and knowledge to help team members develop their skills and abilities and to ensure their professional growth and development. Report on team's performance to senior management, lead and manage various projects and initiatives as required. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Excellent people management skills to support a permanent team and manage GSP resources in the UK and India, while handling stakeholders at all levels. Superb organization, communication, risk, and financial management skills. Ability to multi-task and reprioritize workload to manage evolving requests daily, while being flexible and delivering on commitments. Appreciation of various project delivery methods, including Aviva’s Service Fundamental and Risk and Control frameworks. Background knowledge of integration domains and experience with technologies like wM, Tibco, and Spring Boot.
