My client is looking for a Construction Infrastructure Project Manager who understands the whole concept of Construction from Building Houses, to roads, brigdes, railways and utilities You will work alongside Development Manager on the detailed design process and management of Consultant outputs. • Work alongside the Infrastructure Quantity Surveyor on the Infrastructure Procurement Process including main Contractors, Sub Contractors and Suppliers. • Ensure Infrastructure Contracts are suitable • Management of the interface with relevant authorities and statutory bodies. • To act as the ‘Project Manager’ under the NEC3 Contract would be advantageous. • Assume responsibility for infrastructure related Health & Safety and CDM matters, coordinating with Health and Safety Manager as required. • Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of onsite health and safety matters. • Assist in the development and management of on-site Health and Safety process and procedure. • Responsible for management of all on-site infrastructure activities. • Co-ordination of all infrastructure contractors on site. • Overall responsibility for onsite project delivery, required to delegate to and coordinate with others as necessary in order to meet required performance targets (quality, financial, timeframe). You will need to have proven track record and experience of infrastructure/civils delivery. And have: • Degree and or equivalent professional qualification in Engineering, Project Management or similar and relevant, proven experience and knowledge of development and contracting within a similar role, on projects of similar scale and complexity. • Excellent understanding of NEC3 Contracts, Project Management, Planning and programming and site management. • An understanding and experience of OJEU procurement rules and processes would be an advantage. • Ability to motivate and build strong interpersonal relationships. • Strong IT literacy with particular expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and planning software. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to disseminate project information
