We are seeking a Freelance Influencer Marketing Assistant for a 3-month contracted role to support our team during the summer. There is potential for extension, depending on performance and business needs. The position will initially involve 8-10 hours per week, focusing on a select number of clients, with flexibility for additional ad hoc work as needed.
This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to attend in-office team meetings in Edinburgh or West Lothian once a week. These meetings will typically last around four hours. Therefore, this role may be best suited to someone with a flexible full-time position or other freelance commitments.
Pay Rate: Experience-dependent and will meet or exceed the UK Living Wage hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities
* Influencer Management: Handle administrative tasks such as pitching to brands, tracking campaign performance, maintaining influencer databases, and supporting ongoing influencer relationships and campaigns.
* Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of summer events for the company and our clients.
* PR Mailers: Help coordinate PR mailers to ensure smooth execution, timely delivery to key influencers, and accurate tracking of influencer deliverables.
* Training & Development: Receive hands-on training in influencer contract negotiations and build skills in managing paid partnerships. Collaborate with the team to discover new influencers, contribute to outreach strategies, and support influencer onboarding.
What We’re Looking For
* Exceptional Organisational Skills: A sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
* Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with a solid grasp of English and grammar.
* Social Media & Design Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
* Tech Proficiency: Confidence using Google applications, including Docs, Sheets, and Drive.
* Flexibility: Available to take on ad hoc work as required. In return, we offer flexibility to accommodate any other commitments you may have, such as evening work or specific days of the week. However, you must not be working for another talent management company.
Experience
* Previous experience in an influencer marketing role or similar is required.
What You’ll Gain
* Hands-On Experience: Real world exposure to influencer marketing, PR, and event coordination.
* Skill Development: Comprehensive training in contract negotiations and managing influencer partnerships.
* Potential for contract extension or further opportunities within the company.
