Based at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath.
This job is workstyle 4.
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
As a Social Care Officer for Angus Homeless Prevention Service will be responsible for assessing the needs of homeless individuals or those who are at risk of homelessness. You will create plans with individuals they support to ensure they receive the right support that meets their needs.
You will also be responsible for promoting partnership working, creating links with other services to create long term sustainable tenancies by increasing independence and maximising connectivity with the local community.
Ideally you will have a background in either homelessness, substance use or mental health.
