We have an opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to provide an efficient, responsive, high-quality HR advisory service to partners, line managers and employees in designated jurisdictions and practice groups within the business. Standard hours are 35 hours per week working from 9.00am 5.00pm with 1 hour unpaid break for lunch We offer h ybrid working of 3 days in the office / 2 days from home. Benefits include: 25 days' holiday entitlement with the ability to buy / sell up to 5 days per holiday year A discretionary bonus scheme based on company and individual performance Private medical insurance (From first day of employment with all previous conditions disregarded ) with the option to add family members at candidates own cost Permanent health insurance Life assurance 4x annual salary Group Pension Scheme The ideal candidate will have: At least 4 years' experience in an HR advisory role Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred Ideally fully CIPD qualified Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be comfortable to engage and converse across all levels Strong problem-solving skills Self-starter with initiative and confidence Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality Key duties include: Provide high quality HR advice and guidance to managers and partners to facilitate the early resolution of employee relation issues, ensuring that the risks associated with such cases are effectively managed Advise employees and managers on the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures in accordance with local legislation and the Employee Handbook Develop an in depth understanding of the nuances and complexities of the location and practice area that you support Provide support on significant annual HR processes such as the Annual Salary Review and bonus recommendations Facilitate the co-ordination and documentation for all internal and external secondments and transfers as and when required Continually look for process improvements and make suggestions that can drive efficiency Conduct the weekly HR induction sessions for new joiners Hold parental leave discussions with employees as required and provide the relevant paperwork/action all tasks associated Schedule employee retirement discussions Conduct employee exit interviews to build insight into reasons for leaving and where necessary help build a retention strategy Oversee the running and co-ordination of various student schemes and training programmes alongside the HR Administrators Continually look for process improvements and make suggestions that can drive efficiency Provide support, where necessary, when managing high absence Support the Relationship Manager with all HR reporting requirements (from the HR system) Cover workload during the Relationship Manager's absence ADZN1_UKTJ
