The post holder will work within our Neuropsychology Service providing Neuropsychological Assessment and Rehabilitation to patients after Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury.
The post-holder will work as a Senior Clinical Psychologist four days per week with another Principal Clinical Psychologist.
The team is well-established and works in partnership with the Community Neurorehabilitation Team.
The post is being advertised for a one-year fixed-term contract as maternity leave cover.
Main duties of the job
To participate in the provision of Clinical Neuropsychology Services to stroke survivors and adults with acquired brain injury within the localities served by Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.
To be responsible for the systematic provision of specialist Clinical Neuropsychology services to stroke survivors and adults with acquired brain injury in the Sevenoaks and Maidstone localities.
The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

Job responsibilities
To undertake high-quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory and evaluative) specialist psychological & neuropsychological assessments and interventions of patients referred to the neuropsychology service taking substantial professional responsibility and exercising autonomous judgement in professional practice. Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
* Post graduate doctorate training in Clinical Psychology
* HCPC Registration Practitioner Psychologist
* Evidence of other training in Neuropsychology or a related field
Clinical Skills and Experience
* Evidence of having worked as Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology or related field
* Evidence of having worked as Clinical Psychologist in Neurorehabilitation Services
