Vacancy: Inside Sales Lead - EMEA

The Life Science Technologies (LST) business unit of Johnson Matthey is a specialty business serving the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and fine chemical markets with high added value solutions. Our teams are dedicated to the development of sustainable solutions for the synthesis of increasingly complex structures in the field of organic chemistry. We have an exciting vacancy for an Inside Sales Lead to join our EMEA sales team. We are looking for a tenacious individual with a strong commercial mindset who is able to build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
Your responsibilities:
* Deliver the financial targets for the regional accounts/segments assigned in the EMEA Region;
* Coordinate and support commercial activity for the Regional accounts;
* Actively seek, detect, and develop new business opportunities with new and existing accounts;
* Act as a first point of contact and lead day to day enquiries for the assigned accounts;
* Coordinate with supportive functions to ensure that internal resources are aligned to support commercial activity;
* Keep close customer contact, monitor and follow up catalysts demand and create reliable forecasts;
* Develop and maintain close relationships with the Customer Service Representatives of each territory;
* Monitor competitive activity and participate in the development of appropriate response strategies;
* Attend trade fairs and exhibitions as requested;
* Maintain fluid communication with other sales managers globally.
Requirements for the role:
* Degree in chemistry, biology, biotechnology or Business Administration;
* Minimum 1 year experience in a commercial or customer service environment;
* Project Management skills;
* Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office);
* Proven negotiation skills for commercial and legal affairs;
* Knowledge of LST product range and applications;
* Prior experience in pharmaceuticals or agrochemicals market;
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
* Excellent command of English and Polish (both written and spoken).
Travel up to 40%, (International travel may be required).
