Job Title: Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an Electrical Bias Engineer to join the team located in Camberley, Surrey.
The successful candidate will be able to install and maintain new plant and equipment when required, ensuring that plant faults and defects are swiftly rectified.
Role Summary:
1. React to breakdown maintenance requests within the required SLA's.
2. Technical awareness of computer room/call centre/trader operations and experience of power, UPS, CPS, distribution, cooling etc.
3. Able to apply a risk focused maintenance approach and operations of plant and systems in data centres/critical environments.
4. Provide emergency response standby, call out.
5. Escalate urgent issues identified through to the Technical Services Manager.
6. Respond to work interruptions, outages or emergencies consistent with the SLA.
7. Responsibility for ensuring all critical related engineering maintenance documentation & records is kept updated.
8. Undertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works.
9. Understand and interpret technical drawings / instructions / processes & O&M's.
10. Ensure completion of all reactive Helpdesk Requests.
11. Review and submit to the Technical Services Manager ensuring all actions are documented reviewed and completed.
12. Entering relevant quotes and remedial works onto the in-house system.
Experience Required:
1. 17th/18th Edition Qualified.
2. Experience of working in Facilities Management desirable.
3. Recent experience in a similar role.
4. Understanding of a CDM process.
5. Excellent facilitation, communication skills at all levels.
6. Evidence of Excellent Customer Service Delivery.
7. Able to organise self to manage assigned tasks, determine material requirements.
8. Experience of H & S procedures & requirements. COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment etc.
9. Health & Safety Qualified i.e. IOSH and/or NEBOSH.
10. Testing and Inspection of Electrical systems.
11. Knowledge of emergency response/standby/call out activities and protocols.
12. Understand the monitoring of utilities and environmental programmes.
