Job summary This post is a key leadership role within our Estates, Facilities and Capital directorate. The post holder will lead the capital projects team and work closely with our PFI Partners in regards to planning, delivery and commissioning of estates projects across the Trusts portfolio and will have an oversight of long term strategic planning for health infrastructure in collaboration with clinical, operational and external partners. Main duties of the job The Head of Capital Projects is a key member of the DGT Estates, Facilities & Capital Projects Team and will work alongside the Director of Estates, Facilities and Capital to deliver the trusts and estates strategy. It is a high profile role and will be pivotal to the strategic planning, scoping, design and delivery of the services provided by DGT. The Head of Capital Projects will be responsible for the coordination of the delivery programme and for facilitating a progressive improvement approach to deliver system-wide transformation and planning to enhance performance and future service sustainability.
