Company Secretary

Our client, an international law firm with over 180 Partners and 1,000 staff, is actively recruiting for an experienced and professional Company Secretary to join them on a permanent basis - working in their Abu Dhabi office.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the relevant experience who is already based in Abu Dhabi, to join an experienced and driven team.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
2. Advising management and the board on governance best practice
3. Managing shareholder communications and organising meetings
4. Drafting and filing legal documentation and maintaining corporate records
5. Being the main point of contact for the board, shareholders and regulatory bodies (for governance matters)
To be considered for this Company Secretary opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:
Minimum Requirements:
1. Be based in Abu Dhabi and able to commute to the firms' offices on a regular basis
2. Have proven experience in Corporate Governance, Company Secretarial work or Corporate Law (minimum of 18-24 months experience)
3. Ideally, be educated to degree level (in addition, a Corporate Governance OR Company Secretary certification is desirable)
