This post offers the right individual a great opportunity to influence and lead dynamic and child-centred services as well as contribute to the ongoing success and development of services within the Women Children and Families Division. As the successful candidate for this post you will have operational management and professionally leadership responsibility for the Tayside Health Visiting service (Angus and Perth & Kinross locality). You will be keen to positively influence the quality and delivery of patient care, to drive service improvement and work collaboratively with multi-professional and multi-agency leads. On taking up post you will contribute to the local, regional and national Children and Young Peoples agenda, to partner agency working and to representing NHS Tayside at a regional and national level. You will be based in Perth & Kinross/Angus with frequent travel across Tayside to other sites as an essential part of your role. Your hours of work will be 37 per week, Monday to Friday between 09.00 and 17.00.
* Expertise in the field of community-based children and families services
* Strong operational management and leadership skills
* The ability to role model and provide effective professional leadership
* Demonstrable experience in multi-professional and multi-agency agency working
* Resilience, a solution focussed approach and a drive to lead, support and manage the team around you
* Experience and understanding of data reporting and data analysis to help shape future workforce planning/service improvement/service level training plans
* A registration on sub-part 1: RN1 Adult or Child branch of the UK NMC Register
