Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic business in Wakefield as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support the preparation of management accounts to group
2. Budgeting/forecasting across a multi-site global business
3. Monitor and drive improvements in the businesses working capital
4. Ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's cash flow
5. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
6. Assist in the preparation of month end and year-end financial closing processes
7. Assist with the annual audit and preparation of statutory accounts
8. Perform regular reconciliation of transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of records
9. Provide backup support for the weekly invoicing process, ensuring all related data is accurate and up to date
10. Assist in the management and update of sales agreements, ensuring that terms and conditions are clearly documented and adhered to
11. Support the preparation and processing of payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timely payments to vendors and service providers
12. Assist with managing AR/AP
13. Monitor and review existing contracts to ensure compliance with agreed terms and identify opportunities for rate adjustments based on market conditions or service changes
