Front End React/ES6 Developer (Ecommerce, 6 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Farnham, Surrey (2-4 days in office per month)
Your new company:
I am engaged on a project to recruit a React Front End Developer to be a key contributor to a Greenfield project working in the Health & Wellbeing / BioScience sector. This role is offered on a 6 month contract basis with excellent flexibility around remote working, with a minimum expectation to go into the office 1 day every 2 weeks.
Your new role:
You will be joining a small but expert team working for an owner-operated business in the tech-for-good space. The business is looking to expand into building more custom solutions to provide a better, more customized user experience for their customers. The ideal candidate is a front-end focused developer with Ecommerce experience who has worked on large-scale ES6 projects and can handle some back-end tasks when needed.
What you'll need to succeed:
1. Minimum of 5+ years working hands-on with React, TypeScript, and ES6.
2. Experience working on Greenfield project builds, involved in scoping out, dealing with business stakeholders, and providing wider input beyond just coding.
3. Ecommerce/Shopify experience to maximize integration/development opportunities for the new platform.
4. Comfortable taking on back-end tasks in Node.js/MongoDB when needed.
5. Available to start within 1-2 weeks and will not require Visa sponsorship.
What you'll get in return:
You’ll work for a company investing heavily in their technology team where work-life balance is prioritized and no two days are the same. You can work mainly remote with occasional days in the office, and you will receive annual leave entitlement and other core benefits with flexible hours.
