We are looking to appoint Bank Care Assistants to join our existing team.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate and deliver person centred care with kindness, thoughtfulness and respect at all times.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing the highest level of person centred care to all our residents.
2. Assist residents with all aspects of their personal care whilst promoting/maintaining their independence, rights, dignity, and choices.
3. Participate in training and staff meetings.
4. Delivery of end of life care in a sensitive and respectful manner at all times.
5. Maintain confidentiality at all times.
6. Have a good understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
Qualifications:
1. Compassion & Empathy.
2. An ability to remain calm and professional when under pressure.
3. A positive attitude and a flexible approach (willingness to work a variety of shifts).
4. Flexibility and excellent communication skills with individuals from all walks of life.
5. Hold an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
6. Have a minimum of one year's experience in supporting older people in a care setting.
SALARY - competitive rate with experience.
