We are seeking a professional and experienced Marketing Communications Lead to work as a key part of the Stakeholder Engagement team. The successful candidate will develop, deliver and measure proactive marketing communications activity supporting the Stakeholder Engagement Business Plan, enhancing the Advanced Propulsion Centre’s profile and nurturing strategic relationships with targeted stakeholders.
Responsibilities
1. Create, execute, manage, optimise and measure the success of integrated marketing communications campaigns which deliver APC’s key objectives, messages and USPs and drive stakeholder engagement.
2. Formulate and run measurable campaigns on time, within budget and to a consistent high quality.
3. Collect and use data to deliver regular reports of campaign results, including evaluation of KPIs and measurement of the ROI of campaigns, and to inform new campaigns.
4. Identify trends and insights to propose new and improved marketing communications ideas that will help further APC’s goals, optimising spend, and performance based on these insights.
5. Oversee the creation of marketing and communications collateral, ensuring that APC’s brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels, it is appropriate for target stakeholders and helps to position the APC as a respected authority within our field.
6. Keep up to date a clear set of brand and style guidelines.
7. Brief and oversee the work of external agencies, such as designers, writers, animators etc to deliver the campaign activity.
8. Write, edit and proofread copy for promotional materials within marketing campaigns.
9. Support the development and delivery of a highly-tuned funnel marketing communications strategy.
10. Working closely to support the Senior Marketing Communications Manager, you will play a key role in the stakeholder engagement team to build and sustain a rich and compelling content calendar that connects stakeholders with APC’s mission and impact (including web stories, blog posts, videos, reports, webinars, infographics, podcasts, social media posts, etc.)
This role is hybrid and you will have access to our modern, open plan offices on the Warwick University Campus as well as remote working.
