Account Management Executive Fire & Security Systems – Service Global Fire and Security Systems Full Time – £DOE Head Office Based – Nottingham NG2 https://www.globalfireandsecurity.co.uk/ Job Purpose: To improve Global’s market position across select sectors and achieve service contract sales growth by primarily focusing on developing new relationships as well as expansion of existing relationships. The Account Executive will compile and maintain a prospect list of desirable target clients, establish key customer relationships, and build extensive knowledge of the current standards, market requirements and conditions. The Account Executive represents the entire range of company services to all customers, and gains commitment from customers to buy them from Global. Responsibilities. Sales Performance. Take full ownership of allocated service sales enquiries, client communications & arranging any necessary site surveys and asset capture. Monitor enquiry end dates making sure that we achieve deadlines To achieve sales targets and profit objectives as set by the company. Promote the company, products and service. Accurately record, process and save related documents. Exercise commercial judgement and market knowledge in line with the company’s requirements to determine and maximise the level of gross margin. Produce customer maintenance proposals and schedules. Submit and process customer credit application forms. Process customer contracts / purchase orders and complete customer onboarding process. Produce monthly sales forecasts. Planning and Organising. To optimise the time available by effective planning of: Schedule and monitor workload requirements for sales enquiries which you are responsible for. Produce weekly sales enquiries status reports for the Department Managers/Directors Arrange and attend online client meetings Territory planning and time management skills. To maintain up to date records and information systems, covering in detail all clients and prospects and the status of current negotiations. To maintain up to date client records, systems, contacts and schedules within company CRM. Communicate and coordinate with appropriate internal personnel Selling Skills. Understand and practice excellent all-round sales skills including open questioning, objection handling etc… Generate and develop business from new and existing clients. To meet the targets set for orders by: Preparing and submitting detailed personalised quotations that reiterate prospects requirements, show proposed equipment satisfies requirements, provides justification, specifies finance options, (where appropriate) and details service arrangements and warranties. Providing presentations with a positive close to the negotiation. Answer to the satisfaction of the client any objections or questions raised. Person Specification. Experience. 12 months sales or account management experience ideally within the Fire and Security industry or other service industry. Experience of working to deadlines and to agreed targets. Knowledge Knowledge of Fire & Security Systems advantageous Personal Attributes. Self-motivated. Ability to meet deadlines and follow processes. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Customer focused, possess good organisational skills.
