We have four vacancies available for the position of Assistant General Manager to each support a Divisional General Manager at NHS Ayrshire and Arran. We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and resilient individuals to provide frontline operational management within NHS Ayrshire & Arran and to provide operational leadership for designated areas of responsibility across the Acute Services Directorate.
The successful candidates will join a cohesive and supportive management structure where clinical, operational and management teams work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for patients and will be a key member of the senior management team covering a designated Division.
The successful post holders will support with governance arrangements and provide operational support to the Divisional General Manager, senior medical and nursing staff and other staff groups.
Potential applicants should be educated to degree level or have equivalent service experience and be able to demonstrate involvement in service improvement / redesign in a complex environment.
