Responsibilities:
1. Providing high quality support to their insurance and reinsurance clients both in the UK and globally, either on a consulting basis or via secondment to the client, delivering projects on time and within budget. A key responsibility will be to lead the delivery of these projects.
2. Developing and maintaining a good relationship with nominated clients, building and/or maintaining a strong network of contacts in the insurance industry.
3. Training their junior team members so that they can become stars of the future.
4. Identifying and developing further consultancy opportunities with new and existing clients.
5. Collaborating across the business to deliver on cross-practice projects.
6. Helping to promote their insurance offerings to a wider audience, which includes conference speaking and writing articles.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Candidates should be qualified UK actuaries with proven, relevant post-qualification experience.
2. Experience of running and planning projects with a track record of delivering quality work on schedule.
3. Excellent consulting skills and proven record of achievement and delivery.
4. Strategic business acumen and knowledge of risks facing the insurance industry, which will have been acquired in an industry or consultancy role.
