Job summary At the Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust we are a leading General Hospital and specialist tertiary centre for cancer. We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and conscientious administrator to join us in Nuclear Medicine to provide general administrative and clerical support of a high standard to colleagues and managers within the team. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication, time management and organisational skills, be computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office and data management. You should also have a good telephone manner, be patient focussed and able to demonstrate an ability to work upon your own initiative whilst working well within a team environment. NHS experience is desired but not essential. We expect a significant proportion of the workload to be focused on supporting the Quality Team to ensure the department is able to meet the service requirements. Secondly, to supply administrative assistance to the team under guidance to help maintain our appointments and booking team. This will be in conjunction with our senior leadership team. You will require a sound working knowledge of office administration and you may be required to provide ad hoc administrative support to our Nuclear Medicine Clinicians. Main duties of the job The post holder will provide general administrative support to colleagues and managers in the Nuclear Medicine team ensuring internal procedures are followed to a high standard and deadlines are met. This will include but not limited to supporting the quality management team and provide a quality focused and professional service to the trust and service. In addition provide support to with booking patient appointments and preparing key performance statistics (KPI`s).
