Behaviour Support Assistant – Aberdare Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Vision for Education is looking for compassionate and adaptable individuals to support students with Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) in a school setting in Aberdare. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a challenging but rewarding environment, helping students overcome barriers and achieve their potential. What You’ll Be Doing Tailored Support: Provide focused, one-to-one assistance to students with SEBD, helping them navigate emotional and behavioural challenges. Classroom Contribution: Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment. Emotional Growth: Use targeted interventions to support students’ emotional and social development. Teamwork: Work closely with school staff to create individualised support strategies for each pupil. What We’re Looking For Empathy and Resilience: A calm, patient approach and a genuine desire to help students succeed. Adaptability: Willingness to work in varied settings and support students with different needs. Experience (Optional): While previous experience with behavioural challenges is a bonus, we’re happy to support the right person with training.
