Smile Education is seeking qualified Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis, providing essential support in classrooms and making a real difference to children's education.
Role Overview:
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be working across various primary schools in Dudley, providing support in the classroom environment on a short- or long-term basis. You’ll assist teachers in delivering high-quality education, helping pupils with their learning, and maintaining a positive and engaging atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
* Working with small groups or individual pupils to support their learning.
* Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assisting with classroom management and pupil behaviour.
* Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) when required.
* Adhering to safeguarding policies to ensure the well-being of all pupils.
Requirements:
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience working in primary school settings.
* A genuine passion for working with children.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and year groups.
* A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Right to work in the UK.
