To assist management within the Aberdeen Workshop team with the organisation, quality and planning to better achieve customer expectations and internal quality targets.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
* Raise any health and safety issues/concerns
* Work with the workshop manager to allocate workload on a daily basis
* Lead/Participate in project kick-off/schedule meetings
* Support the workshop manager to investigate safety and quality concerns and implement improvements.
* Help to ensure the correct and timely completion of job cards and timesheets
* Responsible for ensuring housekeeping is maintained at “Visit Ready” standard at all times
* Conduct housekeeping/safety audits as required
* Monitor job progress and team workload
* Work closely with management to achieve expected delivery dates for projects
Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes
The successful applicant will possess:
* Competence in Microsoft packages
* Commitment to safety
* Commitment to right first-time quality
* Process-driven
* Integrity – will do what they say they will do.
* Strong technical knowledge in Motor/Generator repairs and overhauls
