Job Description
The Job Mission
This role supports a major UK-based nuclear power plant project. You’ll review and support interface documentation for electrical systems. Your future team ensures clarity, compliance, and collaboration across contracts.
Key responsibilities include:
* Review supplier documents for compliance with cabling and electrical standards
* Support validation of deliverables against contractual scope and design codes
* Assist engineering leads in resolving supplier and client technical queries
* Contribute to discussions on electrical interface scope and documentation
* Help maintain IEG interface documents with updated scope references
* Liaise with contract teams to track and close minor scope gaps
* Support the annual report process on electrical component allocation
* Engage with lessons learned to improve documentation and processes
My profile
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Experience with electrical cabinet design, cabling or installation specs
* Exposure to reviewing or producing technical documentation
* Knowledge of how large energy or industrial projects are delivered
* Good attention to detail and collaborative mindset
* Able to communicate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams
* Familiarity with BS7671 and IEC 60909
* Some experience within the nuclear sector is beneficial
* Understanding of RCC-E and key technical reference standards
* Basic knowledge of interface documentation processes
* Experience working with suppliers or contractors
* Comfortable navigating technical standards and codes
