Are you a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor from a M&E background? Are you seeking an opportunity to join an established, yet growing company that offer excellent progression opportunities, with the potential to step up into a directorship position in the future?
This is a dynamic company with experience in all aspects of the Plumbing, Heating and Renewables industries. The business has been growing, developing, and changing year on year since they began in 2015. Due to an internal restructure, they're now one of three businesses working under a wider group. Ahead of celebrating their 10th year in business next year and to meet company needs, they're now seeking an individual who holds previous experience within a Quantity Surveying position and is keen to support their mission in scaling up.
In this role the individual will be preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects as well as evaluating and managing variations in project scope, cost and schedules. This company encourages internal progression which will naturally evolve as the business grows, with the potential for the right candidate to step up into a directorship position in the future.
The ideal candidate will hold previous experience in Quantity Surveying and will come from an MEP, Heating or Renewables background. This is a brilliant opportunity for a driven candidate to feel valued, and showcase their existing skillset and knowledge while assisting a group of passionate individuals to collectively achieve company goals.
The Role:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects
* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to offer cost effective solutions
* Working towards Chartership
* 40hr working week - flexible working available
The Person:
* Experience working as an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor from an MEP, Heating, Renewables or relevant Mechanical background
* Educated to at least HNC/HND (preferably Degree) level within a relevant discipline - Quantity Surveying / Estimating
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations
* Driven, ambitious and motivated by development opportunities
* Full UK driving licence
