Job Role: Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Manager
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Hours: Monday-Friday / Days only – 40 hours pw
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Package Overview:
Overtime available paid at 1.5x / Any hours over 40 hours at 1.5x
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Pension subject to auto-enrolment - Employee contribution 5% (minimum) and Employer contributes 3%

The Responsibilities:
1. Controlling the introduction of new products and processes from a QSHE standpoint through implementing either new product development or a cost saving route.
2. Ensuring health & safety procedures are upkept across the site to ensure employee safety.
3. Work to ISO 9001 regulation standards alongside be trained in NEBOSH.
4. Respond & Liaise surrounding customer complaints to find the cause & implement new measures to ensure the issue is fixed.
5. Implementing Quality Assurance Tools.
6. Reduce waste, utilize renewable materials & energy.
The Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years’ worth of experience working as a quality engineer or QSHE manager within a manufacturing environment.
2. A good understanding of complying with various manufacturing frameworks (ISO 9001, 40001 etc).
3. Experience in reducing the impact of the business on the environment (waste, energy, renewable materials etc).
4. Full UK Drivers Licence.
