Job Summary
Ongoing training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to provide a comprehensive range of secretarial, clerical, and administrative support to the Medical Education Team, including Managers, Training Programme Directors, Educators, and users of the Medical Education Centre.
Main duties of the job
KEY FEATURES OF THE ROLE
1. Provide administrative support to Medical Education Team, particularly Training Programme Directors.
2. Set up and organise Regional Training Days / Courses for Trainees across the Region.
3. Liaise with Faculty and trainees across the whole Yorkshire and Humber region.
4. Attend Specialty Training Committees to undertake minutes.
5. As necessary, attend Courses and provide on-the-day admin support.
6. Provide admin support for the PACES Course and Examination, including weekend working at least 6 times a year.
7. Have knowledge of e-portfolio.
8. Have knowledge of virtual learning platforms.
9. Have knowledge of the Trust AV / Video Conferencing systems.
10. Have excellent customer service skills.
11. Responsible for maintaining accurate training records of all trainees on the trainee's database, HEY 24/7 and other reporting systems like Blackboard.
12. Work as part of a team to ensure the successful delivery of event support.
