An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator with excellent communication and organisational skills as part of a newly developed project within the CAMHS Unscheduled Care Central Service.
The post holder will work as part of the CAMHS Central Administration Team working closely with a team of Clinical Staff to provide comprehensive administration support implementing new administrative working practices for a developing service.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will play an important role within the service providing efficient administration support to support service delivery whilst acting as a daily contact for patients, relatives and carers and provide support to staff across primary, secondary and community settings. You will need to be enthusiastic, motivated, sensitive and tactful. Whilst NHS experience is not essential, the ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, members of the public and colleagues at all levels in difficult and challenging situations is essential along with the ability to demonstrate excellent organisational and IT skills.
By the nature of the duties, the post holder is required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, relatives and visitors with courtesy and discretion at all times.
