This is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as part of our dynamic inpatient Physiotherapy Service working on the Royal Devon & Exeter (Wonford) Hospital site.

We have an -month fixed term opportunity as part of a flexible team that will cover the adult surgical wards, ICU and the paediatric unit. The role will involve providing comprehensive assessment and appropriate physiotherapeutic interventions to patients with a range of conditions including acutely unwell respiratory patients.
Post holders will be expected to have efficient ward management skills and comprehensive clinical skills to manage a clinical caseload in the paediatric ward and acute surgical ward setting including Colorectal, Urology, Plastics, ENT and Critical Care. The role will also include a clinical caseload of inpatient and outpatient respiratory paediatric patients.
The post holder will be expected to work flexibly to support their Occupational Therapy colleagues in ensuring safe and timely discharges. There will also be an opportunity to work with managers to develop the service in line with patient need and trust wide developments.
This role carries a requirement to participate on the weekend, bank holiday and emergency on-call respiratory rotas.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday to (Weekends, bank holidays and on-calls on a rota basis)
