The Applications Engineer / Proposals Engineer / Quotations engineer will use technical knowledge of generators to assess requirements of client’s assets and produce quotations that are both technically and commercially accurate The successful Applications Engineer / Proposals Engineer / Quotations engineer will come from the critical power industry and would have had hands on knowledge of Generators and UPS, this would suit an engineer looking to come off the tools Package £30,000 - £35,000 Health cash plan Paid Holiday Pension Responsibilities: Use technical knowledge of generators to assess requirements of client’s assets and produce quotations that are both technically and commercially accurate Develop accurate, detailed quotations to support engineering Generator projects. Collaborate with teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to source components and solutions Provide guidance and problem-solving support across the business. Own tasks, ensuring completion based on risk, priority, and SLAs/KPIs. Initial 2-week on-site training, then up to a week every 6-8 weeks. Home-based or hybrid in St Albans / Scarborough. Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:30–16:50, Fri 08:30–15:10.Requirements Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Generator Engineer, Quotations Engineer Applications Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Pricing Engineer, Costing Engineer, sales Engineer or similar. Open to a Generator Engineer coming off the tools. Solid understanding and experience within critical power applications such as LV control panels, electrical distribution, power electronics, electrical installation, generators or similar. A technical electrical/ mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous. Can by home based or hybrid in St Albans / Scarborough
