Cell Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Cell Lead to take ownership of scheduling, production performance, and leadership within a key manufacturing cell. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership position, ensuring smooth operations and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate work in progress through shared service cells to meet operational plans.
2. Oversee test schedules, calibration of chambers, and test rigs.
3. Conduct testing to Acceptance Test Procedures and report any failures.
4. Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to cell employees.
5. Monitor and advise on production performance, ensuring SQCDP metrics are met.
6. Drive problem-solving initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.
7. Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to.
8. Identify and organize training for team members based on skills requirements.
9. Lead daily stand-up meetings (DSUMs) to communicate targets and performance updates.
10. Act as 5S Champion and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
11. Deputize for the Production Manager when required.
What We're Looking For In Our Cell Lead:
1. Experience in a Cell Lead or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
2. Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to analyze production data and drive continuous improvements.
4. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team.
5. Familiarity with SQCDP metrics and lean manufacturing principles.
6. A proactive and hands-on approach to managing production performance.
