Job description
In this role you will:
* Lead on pieces of work that implement the technical & strategy of Dstl’s forensic capability
* Be responsible for building and maintaining specialist area of knowledge and related networks within the Digital Forensics areas
* Be accountable for technical output in Digital Forensics
* Support team members and empower them to make decisions within technical remit
Person specification
We are looking for someone who has:
* Mature knowledge and practical experience of Digital Forensics areas.
* An existing knowledge of biometrics.
* A sound knowledge of the Digital forensic landscape in the UK and internationally.
* The ability to build and maintain networks across senior levels of forensic practitioners, UK law enforcement, academia and industry, and international partners.
* The ability to foresee and plan for changing requirements and future needs in the digital forensics area.
* A strong knowledge in the principles of Digital forensic science.
