Description
The Trainee Accounts Payable Assistant role is initially a 12 month contract and will be based 3 days per week in Macclesfield office (Hybrid working). Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager Key duties will include:
Ensure all centrally processed supplier invoices are recorded in the accounting system correctly and processed on a timely basis
Ensure the supplier invoices processed are reconciled to the supplier statement on a
monthly basis providing analysis/escalation where applicable
Support the payments to suppliers in line with contractually agreed payment terms,
once invoices have been approved and processed
Assist in ad hoc tasks as required by the businessProfile
In order to apply for the role you should:
Have some previous accounts experience or be an AAT Studier/Accounts or Finance Graduate
Have experience of using Excel
Be available to consider a 12 month contract initially
