JOB PURPOSE
As the Category Manager, Corporate Services at Burberry, you'll partner with the business across a range of sub-categories (Professional Services, Tax, Facilities, Insurance, HR, Consultancy and Contingent Labour) to deliver optimum commercial outcomes and managing performance across a variety of professional services. Supporting in both strategic projects and the day to day activities across Commercial Procurement, this is a varied and unique role with a focus on stakeholder management & operational excellence within the Corporate Services space
This Category Manager, Corporate Services role is offered on a full time, permanent basis and will be based in our Leeds office for a minimum of 3 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Engaging with and managing stakeholders and suppliers within the professional services space, including finance, human resources, legal and facilities management
* Managing UK Contingent Labour Management at Burberry and the operational management of Burberry’s MSP (Managed Service Provider), reporting on a regular basis around SLAs and costs and acting as a subject matter expert on contingent labour management, AEO, IR35 legislation and AWR
* Working closely with the Workplace Services and retail teams within the facilities management and real estate categories, identifying suitable suppliers to support a varied property portfolio in the UK & internationally
* Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies
* Working closely with Legal and Info-Sec to ensure quality contracts are in place with credible suppliers
* Providing regular reporting on savings, projects and supplier performance
* Ensure governance and compliance of contractor background screening, safeguarding Burberry’s AEO accreditation
* Identify and implement a programme for continuous improvement
PERSONAL PROFILE
* Extensive operational and commercial experience in the professional services categories
* Experience of forming and managing effective stakeholder and supplier relationships
* Ability to deliver tangible results whilst working in a challenging and ever changing environment
* Good Excel skills, able to analyse data and present effectively
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Expert negotiator, demonstrated resilience and ability to respectfully challenge while maintaining balance and warmth of professional relationships
