NATIONAL KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (LICENSED TEXTILES/ BEDDING)
UP TO £65K + benefits
MANCHESTER
Our client is a highly successful and well-established textiles bedding brand in the UK, sold to multiple high street retailers such as JOHN LEWIS, DEBENHAMS, HARVEY NICHOLS, and more. They aim to be the global market leader in bedding and home textiles, offering high-quality and relevant solutions to enhance home living and grow their business by expanding into new categories and markets.
They are seeking an experienced UK KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER to join their Manchester headquarters. The ideal candidate must have experience with licensed textiles/bedding brands and have worked closely with high street retailers like JOHN LEWIS, Debenhams, Harvey Nichols, and have a proven sales record in ecommerce/B2C.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow branded and licensed sales within the UK and identify new opportunities.
* Manage national and licensed accounts, maintaining long-term relationships with customers.
* Business development to explore new markets.
* Handle costings, negotiations, budgeting, and sales forecasting.
* Achieve sales and margin targets.
* Conduct market research to identify opportunities and gaps.
* Present new products and opportunities to clients.
* Ensure timely delivery of products and services.
* Coordinate branding and marketing support.
* Collaborate with internal departments such as E-commerce, Product Development, Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service, Accounts, Sourcing, and Factories.
* Forecast stock needs and manage inventory.
* Manage aged debt and maintain transaction records.
Skills
* Experience with licensed textiles/bedding brands and high street retailers.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proven sales and customer service experience.
* Strong account management and decision-making skills.
* Problem-solving, planning, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
* Proficiency in PowerPoint, CRM, MS Excel, Power BI.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas trade shows.
Experience
* 10-15 years in national account management within bedding/license sectors with major retailers.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
* Experience in home textiles (bed and bath).
* Valid UK driving license required.
Salary up to £65k basic + benefits, with some hybrid working. Must be based in Manchester/North West.
