Senior Project Manager
Location: Cambridge, North Scotland and other locations coming soon

As a Senior Project Manager you will oversee large-scale construction projects from concept to completion. Do you have a track record for delivering projects on time, within scope and budget? As a Senior Project Manager you will be commercially aware with knowledge of NEC contract types. You will be responsible for the programme review and planning. Laing O'Rourke use many PM platforms, having experience of Asta PowerProject or similar will help support your project tracking.
Accuracy and an ability to analyse methods will help you implement innovative and consistent delivery methods. Take a look at some of the duties below.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
* Uphold and lead by example on health and safety and promote a safe working culture
* Able to Project Manage from pre-construction stages into handover on full-build projects.
* Knowledge of sub-structure, structure and fit-out projects
* Ability to use project management software
* Able to understand and utilise BIM (Digital Engineering) information and models
* Experience of budgeting, financial planning and risk management
* Communication at all project levels from site to senior leadership along with suppliers and the client
* Delivery of fast paced in-situ and modular construction projects
Technical Capabilities and training
* Engineering Degree or similar on the job training
* Self-delivery methodologies
* Building information modelling
* Off-Site construction - Modular methods of construction
* Technical project knowledge
Desirable
* Circa 10 years a Project Manager
* CEMAR experience
* Tier 1 contractor experience
* Defence or government projects
The position may see you delivering multiple projects meaning travel will be essential. During pre-construction phases Sale (Manchester) will be used as a base. We will also consider locations such as Dartford with mobilisation to sites when needed.
