Job Title: Warehouse Administrator
Locations: Redditch
Pay: £12.00 - £12.50phr
Contract: Temporary with a view to go Permanent
Our client is looking for a highly organised and motivated Warehouse Administrator to support their warehouse operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of sales orders, from stock allocation to delivery, while maintaining close coordination with drivers, the Customer Service team, and the Warehouse Team Leader. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
⦁ Review sales orders, check stock allocation, and release orders for picking in line with planned collection schedules
⦁ Liaise with drivers, ensuring swift unloading/loading to maintain operational efficiency
⦁ Print and manage shipment paperwork to ensure all parties have the correct copies
⦁ Print and attach customer-specific labels (e.g., ASN’s) to the relevant orders
⦁ Work closely with the Customer Service team to keep them informed of daily dispatches and flag any collection issues or failures
⦁ Collaborate with the Warehouse Team Leader to conduct spot-checks for picking accuracy, reducing order failure rates
⦁ Ensure the warehouse office is always manned to manage gates, assist drivers, and address any queries
⦁ Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer order queries and claims in a timely manner
⦁ Process goods received, verifying quantities and resolving discrepancies
⦁ Print labels for rework operations and shipping documentation
⦁ Ship goods via courier services, raising necessary paperwork
⦁ Collect and record 3rd party warehouse data for invoice reconciliation
⦁ Liaise with 3rd party contacts to verify transaction quantities and ensure accuracy
⦁ Support stock counting efforts and investigate any discrepancies identified
⦁ Provide additional support in order picking, packing, vehicle loading, and unloading as required.
