With over 5,000 clubs worldwide, Anytime Fitness is the fastest growing Global fitness chain with close to 190 clubs in the UK and 70+ in London alone.
Anytime Fitness is opening a brand-new club in London (exact location TBC upon interview stages) which will be opening summer 2025 and will form part of an exciting group of 8+ Anytime Fitness clubs with scope to develop within a growing company.
Responsibilities
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the presale, including producing and executing on a comprehensive Marketing Planner (including digital marketing) and leading a team to ensure lead generation and sales targets are hit in line with targets. Specific responsibility for:
* Presale success to project manage a pre-sale roadmap, which includes an emphasis on successfully partnering with key corporate partners and lead team executing on the ground.
* Empower your team and set the tone from day 1! Lead from the front, develop your team, set clear targets, recognise and reward wins, be consistent, and drive a strong sales culture.
* Launch the club in line with the guidelines set by Anytime Fitness on all levels of compliance.
* Marketing the club ongoing and management of a marketing budget and planning events.
* Social Media/Digital Campaigns, customer targeting, optimisation, and retention activity.
* Customer service and retention of existing members – ensuring their experience is excellent and adopt a culture of ‘you asked, we listened’ and setting a culture where every member journey is recognised.
* Operations & Maintenance of the club including adherence to health and safety requirements.
* Knowing your competition – mystery shop regularly, develop tactics to combat competition.

* Natural leadership – brilliant at managing and motivating in a sales and service environment.
* Confident – the ideal candidate is comfortable approaching members on the gym floor, appearing on camera for social media, organising corporate meetings, and just being the face of the club.
* Resilience – ability to deal with operational/sales/customer issue resolution with a calm head.
* IT & Social media proficiency – outside the box thinking on marketing and focus on building a following which generates leads/sales.
* Hard Working – the ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, rolls up their sleeves and be highly motivated toward achieving the club and companies’ vision.
What We Can Offer
* Competitive salary from £40,000-£48,000 for the right candidate. Up to £55,000 OTE / incl. bonus.
* Continuing professional and career development, training and support including courses provided by Anytime Fitness Head office and career development into senior positions within the group.
