Purpose
To support the delivery of the connectivity strategy, by ensuring a seamless onboarding process for our spa and hotel partners to one of our available XML integrations, while closely monitoring and maintaining the cache stock and rates once a property is connected. The role will also involve troubleshooting queries from our internal teams and connected partners, helping to ensure the overall success of this project.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Product & Integrations Manager on the sourcing strategy to manage the transition to a digitally connected environment and the optimum way to source our partners’ product.
* Work with our integration partners to ensure the quickest and most efficient onboarding process for hotels and spas.
* Communicate with our integrated hotel and spa partners, solving any issues and ensuring a seamless transition to sale.
* Collaborate with the Product Managers to engage their contacts and present connectivity solutions where appropriate
* Mapping all new hotels and packages within the API extranet
* Ensure control spreadsheets are kept up to date and that there are good levels of availability at all connected properties including key dates and weekends.
* Supporting the sales team, ensuring that they have the tools they need to convert bookings
* Work with the Head of Product on current commercial projects and support business timelines
* Supporting the Admin team during busy periods, by carrying out allocation adjustments, pulling booking lists for venues and creation of new packages in the admin system
Requirements
* Experience or knowledge of XML connections and contracting product via various sources, including channel managers, bed banks and direct contracts
* Strong delivery focus, excellent attention to detail, having the tenacity and resilience required to flourish in a pressurised and constantly evolving environment
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are required when troubleshooting and ensuring that we have the correct rates pulling through and there are no issues with the connections
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Confident in holding meetings with suppliers to explain our connectivity solutions
* The ability to multi-task
* IT literate with a good knowledge of Excel / Google Worksheets
* Excellent team player
* Experience in the travel or spa industry is advantageous
* Hybrid working - attend Brighton office 3 days a week, work from home 2 days a week
