Working in the Integrated Transport Services Team, supporting our Area Transport teams across Lancashire, you will be responsible ensuring, through the development of robust processes, that the geographically based service delivery teams are optimising planning and performance though the use of Information Technology solutions in a highly specialised Passenger Transport environment. Other responsibilities will include developing Key Performance Indicators to drive continuous improvement activity and to inform Senior Leadership and County Council members. What we are looking for… Knowledge and Experience We're looking for a suitably qualified person, for example some with a Certificate of Professional Competence (PSV) who can drive forward efficiency objectives in a rapidly growing SEND Home to School service delivery environment. Someone with initiative and drive and a desire to succeed, who can create networking opportunities both inside and outside the immediate service delivery team. The successful candidate will have strong ICT skills across the range of Microsoft Office products and the ability to quickly assimilate appropriate knowledge of bespoke and service specific IT systems, and the ability to analyse and interpret data, producing high value information to drive efficient, yet supportive and appropriate services. Communication The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to use those skills to influence service delivery teams and senior managers across a range of associated services, building strong working relationships in the process.
