Are you a sports coach with experience working with children and young adults? Are you looking to gain experience working within the education sector? Axcis are an education agency specialising in SEND. Axcis Education seeks to appoint sports coaches who have experience working with children or young adults for work within mainstream and SEND schools, as well as PRU's and alternative provisions. We work with a variety of special needs and mainstream schools in Exeter and surrounding areas who have part and full-time support staff roles. Whilst you wouldn't be teaching sport you will be using your coaching skills to build rapport and good relationships with these students. The roles we can offer will be suitable for you if you; - Have a sports background in training or coaching - Have a confident and friendly personality - Can remain calm under stressful situations - You are able to manage groups of children and have great classroom management skills - Have experience working with young people - Have experience teaching sports to young people with special needs - Want to work regular school hours 0830-1530 Pay rates depend on your previous experience but in general vary from £80- £90 per day. Some of the children we support have needs such as autism, downs syndrome, ADHD, behavioural issues and physical disabilities.
