Main duties of the job
* Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
* Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
* Ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care andwellbeing.
* Assisting patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilstensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected.

Pay Rates:£11.45- £20.95 band 2. £12.45 to £21.03 Band 3 and based on experience

Person Specification
Experience
* Minimum of 6 months Acute HCSW UK (Private, NHS or Armed Forces) hospital/hospice experience within the last 2 years
Qualifications
* All Care support worker roles will be required to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification. Evidence accepted includes:
* Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements.
* Care Certificate from an NHS Organisation
* QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011
* QCF Level 2 OR above Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support issued after 2011
* QCF Level 3 OR above Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support issued after 2011 (For Paediatric & Maternity roles only)
* Degree /Diploma in Nursing and currently do not have an NMC Registration.
* Driving License is Essential.
