Role: Support Assistant
Location: New Larchwood, Brighton
Salary: £22,528.00 per annum pro rata
Hours: 12 hours per week
Reporting into the Home Manager, responsibilities will include:
1. Implementing and maintaining effective administration and financial systems to meet location, customer and any external requirements.
2. Being accountable for providing accurate information as required and ensuring admin processes and documentation are in place.
3. Managing transactions in line with financial procedures and ensuring reporting systems are maintained in the absence of the manager.
4. Complying with CQC essential standards and Anchor procedures.
Required knowledge & experience:
1. Level 2 Business Administration or Customer Service Level 2.
2. Previous experience of working in an office environment.
3. Understanding of financial procedures, debt management, income collection, payroll processes, and budget management.
4. Managing customers’ personal monies and understanding of confidentiality and data protection within a care setting.
5. Health & safety in the workplace.
Required skills:
1. Computer literate with experience of a variety of IT packages.
2. Well organized with good planning skills.
3. Able to produce and present numerical data accurately with attention to detail.
4. Able to work individually and as part of a team.
