Job summary The Royal Marsden is one of the largest comprehensive cancer centres in Europe and together with the ICR is ranked in the top five cancer centres in the world for research. This exciting new post presents an excellent and unique opportunity to be at the forefront of new and innovative treatments in oncology and haemato-oncology, with the clinical benefits of private care within an NHS setting. You will work as part of a dynamic team of clinical pharmacists and technicians providing support to our patients within the outpatient and inpatient settings on the Sutton, Chelsea and Cavendish square sites of the hospital. You will be involved with the management of patients with complex haemato-oncological malignancies (e.g. CAR-T therapy and stem cell transplants). We have a significant presence in both the outpatient clinics and the medical day units and are respected and valued as key members of the MDT and work closely with world renowned experts. Previous experience of oncology and haemato-oncology is desirable but not essential. The hospital is very encouraging of non-medical prescribing and attainment of this can be supported once you have gained and demonstrated the necessary experience.
