You will be responsible for the preparation of the group consolidated management accounts in an accurate and timely manner (7 companies). Alongside the Corporate Controller, you will be supporting the business by delivering financial compliance across the corporate structure, banking and taxation. Main Responsibilities: Supporting the Corporate Controller in the preparation of the groups consolidated monthly management accounts Taking responsibility for the month end reporting requirement for Group Central Overheads, including THG operating costs, liaising with functional budget holders to review monthly transactions and updated forecasts, budgets, etc Maintain balance sheet reconciliations for Central, ensuring they are accurately prepared and reported. Ownership of the Intercompany reconciliation process on a monthly basis to ensure account reconciliations are complete, agreed between counterparties and cleared down on a timely basis Support the Corporate Controller in the preparation of the quarterly updated cashflow forecasts for the group. Ensure that monthly central management accounts, Budgets and forecasts comply with accounting standards and Sigma policies, and are delivered in a timely manner; explaining key variances, trends and outlook. Review of the Sigma Group VAT return, including key reconciliations and analysis as appropriate. Support the Corporate Controller with ad hoc analysis and projects as required. Knowledge/ Expereince Required: Previous experience in the preparation of management accounts (preferably consolidated accounts) Business partnering ethos and team player Excellent analytical/ IT skills Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to use own initiative, and a problem-solving mindset.
